The Borough is fortunate to have many documents, books, newspapers, and photographs in its archives that catalog the area's rich history. Simply click on the cover of a document to view the full document. 50th Anniversary Celebration
"75th Anniversary West View Horizons" is a comprehensive history book created to celebrate West View's diamond jubilee, 1980.

This book contains the Borough council meeting minutes from January 24th, 1905 to February 1st, 1908. It is extremely valuable for researching our Borough's early history.The "West View Community Cook Book" is a vintage cookbook filled with recipes from West View area residents. The exact publication date of the book is unknown, but we estimate it to be from the 1930s/1940s.The Golden Years
