The Real Estate Tax Collector is independently elected and is responsible for collecting the Borough’s real estate tax. The Borough’s real estate tax collector is Rita Schwarzmeier and her office is located at 457 Perry Highway.

Earned Income Tax

Starting in 2012 it was mandated that all employers withhold and remit local wage tax for their employees. The state also mandated that the tax office be consolidated into 4 tax collectors in Allegheny County. Keystone Collections will now be collecting the wage tax for West View Borough starting with the 2012 wage taxes. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your 2012 wage taxes, please call Keystone Collections at 1-866-539-1100. The Assistant Secretary will be handling the wage taxes from 2011 and prior.
