Message from the Chief

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I have been a police officer for West View since September 1985. I have held the rank of Patrolman, Senior Patrolman, Crime Prevention Officer, and DARE Officer. I am a life member of West View VFD Company #2.

My family moved to West View in 1963 and with the exception of a short period I have been a West View resident all of my life.

I retired after 33 years in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard USAF and retired as a Chief Master Sergeant (E-9) 171st ARW Security Forces Squadron Manager.

On behalf of the West View Police Department and all of our employees, we wish to thank you for the interest in our organization and welcome you to our website. We hope you will find the information you need here and encourage you to contact us if you need any additional resources or information. The West View Police Department hired its first police officer in early 1906 and since that time we have been committed to providing first class law enforcement and public safety to the citizens of West View. During the past one hundred years the Department has grown to 11 full-time and three part-time police officers. The West View Police Department employees take great pride in the professional standards that we adhere to. Our officers are equipped with the latest technological equipment and receive constant training to enhance our performance in accomplishing our assigned duties.
