Two Junior Council Members Sworn in at October Council Meeting

Two junior council members were sworn in at yesterday's council meeting, Jenna Woelke and Joseph Bensch.

Ms. Woelke has been a junior council member since last year, but was presented with a certificate formally acknowledging her swearing in. Mr. Bensch was sworn in and attended his first meeting last night.

The Junior Council Person Program is a program sponsored by the Pennsylvania State Association of Boroughs that seeks to encourage high school students to get involved in local government. Our junior council members attend monthly council meetings and deliver a report on news pertaining to the North Hills School District. The Borough is proud to be able to offer this experience to students that reside in the Borough. Congratulations Jenna and Joseph!
