Further Updates and Reminders Regarding New Trash Carts

Attention residents:

The new Waste Management trash and recycling carts have begun to be delivered this week. If you have not yet received yours, keep an eye out over the next few days.

Some residents have already requested smaller trash carts. As a reminder, residents may request a onetime trash cart exchange from the larger 96-gallon cart to either a 64-gallon or 32-gallon cart. To do so, you can call 412-931-2800 ext. 114 and leave a message, or fill out our online form here: https://www.wvboro.com/public-works-department/webforms/request-smaller-trash-cart. This form is also pinned to our site's homepage. If you request a smaller cart, it will be delivered by our Public Works Department and your 96-gallon cart will be taken. We are working diligently to process these requests.

We are now also offering 35-gallon recycling carts. If you would also like one of these, you can give us a call.

You may continue to place additional trash around your new cart for pickup until January 31st, 2024. After that point, all trash must fit inside the cart. For those who feel they may need more than one cart, additional carts can be added to your account for a fee. Do not call the Borough if this is your request. This must be done by calling Waste Management at 844-279-2503 or www.wm.com.

As always, we appreciate your patience and cooperation during this time.
