Congressman Chris Deluzio Presents Borough Officials With $1,000,000 Check for Streetscape Project

The Borough of West View is proud to announce that we have received a $1,000,000 grant to be used towards our ongoing Streetscape Project, aimed at revitalizing the Borough’s Business District. Congressman Chris Deluzio, who was instrumental in helping the Borough obtain this grant, presented Borough officials with a check yesterday afternoon. We would also like to thank State Representative Emily Kinkead and Senator Lindsey Williams for their assistance in securing an additional $500,000 in grant monies that will also be used for the Streetscape Project.

Congressman Chris Deluzio and State Representative Emily Kinkead met with Mayor J.R. Henry, members of Borough Council, and Chief Bruce Fromlak and walked along the Perry Highway Business District. They discussed the Streetscape Project, its areas of focus, and even stopped into West View Floral Shoppe to speak with owner Beth Schellhaas.

We thank Congressman Deluzio and State Representative Kinkead for their time yesterday and for sharing in our vision to make West View an even better place to live.
